CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Senior Transportation Roadway Engineer to join our Highway & Rail Team across Burlington, MA; Norwell, MA; Boston, MA; or Providence, RI.

You will provide technical leadership on high-impact transportation projects, mentor engineers, and deliver thoughtful, high-quality solutions that improve safety and longevity of infrastructure. The role requires a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering, 10+ years of experience in highway design, MassDOT design experience, and a PE

Competenze

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive engineering experience.
• Highway/roadway design experience is required; hydraulic design experience preferred.
• MassDOT design experience is required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation and related tools.
• Strong QA/QC knowledge, business practices and engineering laws.
• Demonstrated leadership and collaborative work style.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Participation in professional societies preferred.

Mansioni

• Lead the technical execution of complex highway and rail designs, reports and specifications.
• Provide expert consultation and resolve complex multi-discipline issues.
• Lead advanced projects coordinating with other departments and project management.
• Develop and manage discipline work plans aligned with milestones and budgets.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical reviews and support.
• Prepare proposals and deliver external presentations to clients and agencies.
