CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Senior Transportation Roadway Engineer to join our Highway & Rail Team in Burlington, MA; Norwell, MA; Boston, MA; or Providence, RI.

You will lead complex highway and rail design efforts, mentor engineers, and deliver high-quality solutions that improve safety and longevity of transportation infrastructure. The ideal candidate holds a Civil Engineering degree, 10+ years of highway design experience, MassDOT background, and a PE license, with strong leadership

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering required.
• Minimum of 10 years progressive engineering experience.
• Highway/roadway design experience required; hydraulic design experience preferred.
• MassDOT design experience required.
• PE license required.
• Proficiency in QA/QC, and strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical execution of complex highway and rail design projects.
• Provide expert consultation on highly complex issues across multidisciplinary projects.
• Lead advanced technical projects and mentor junior staff.
• Develop discipline work plans aligned with milestones, budgets, and schedules.
• Deliver proposals and presentations to clients and regulatory agencies.
• Ensure quality control and collaboration across engineering teams.
