JMT is seeking a Project Manager in Hunt Valley, MD to lead transportation and infrastructure projects. You will guide multidisciplinary teams, manage scope, schedule, budget, and client relationships, delivering high-quality results that meet time and budget targets.

You will act as a trusted client liaison, support project planning, mentor staff, and contribute to JMT’s reputation for technical excellence and practical solutions. This role offers a hybrid schedule and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Civil Engineering or Construction Management from an accredited university.
• 10+ years in transportation/infrastructure/civil project delivery.
• 3+ years managing projects, teams, budgets, and client relationships.
• Licensed Professional Engineer in Maryland.
• Experience delivering projects for state/local/federal transportation agencies.

Responsabilités

• Manage transportation and infrastructure projects from planning to construction support.
• Serve as primary client contact and maintain trusted relationships.
• Lead multidisciplinary project teams across engineering, design, planners, and subconsultants.
• Develop and manage work plans, staffing, budgets, schedules, and invoicing.
• Coordinate preparation of technical deliverables, costs, and contract documents.
• Monitor performance, address issues, and ensure quality and profitability.
• Mentor staff and foster collaboration, accountability, and attention to detail.
• Support proposals, client meetings, and scope development.
