Job summary

JMT is seeking an experienced Project Manager for civil engineering initiatives in Maryland. You will lead project objectives including scope, schedule, budget, risk management, and stakeholder communication, coordinating multidisciplinary teams and subconsultants.

The role requires ABET-accredited degree in civil engineering, 10–12+ years of experience, and PE license is preferred. This position offers an ESOP, 401(k) plan, generous PTO, and professional development within a 100% employee-owned

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• 10+ years of experience in civil engineering project management.
• Professional Engineer license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage project scope, schedule, and budget to deliver objectives.
• Coordinate with disciplines and subconsultants to define project scope and fee.
• Develop project plans, PM plans, and quality management plans.
• Create and maintain project schedules and manage subconsultants.
• Monitor progress, mitigate risks, and prepare progress reports and invoices.
• Lead client communications and deliver project status presentations.
• Support marketing processes with proposals and interviews.
