Job summary

RK&K in Virginia Beach is seeking a Transportation-Roadway Project Manager to lead a group of engineers on highway and design-build projects in Virginia.

The PM will oversee design tasks, ensure quality, mentor junior staff, and coordinate with clients, consultants and government agencies.

A PE license in Virginia and strong knowledge of AASHTO criteria, MicroStation/GeoPak are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in civil engineering; PE license in Virginia preferred or eligible.
• Minimum 10 years in civil/transportation design projects.
• Experience with VDOT standards and design criteria.

Responsibilities

• Lead transportation design projects in a fast-paced team environment.
• Review documents to meet quality standards and budgets.
• Mentor junior staff on highway design tasks.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants and agencies.
