Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead roadway/highway transportation design projects in Pennsylvania. The role involves managing complex programs, developing scopes and budgets, and guiding multi-disciplinary teams to deliver high-quality solutions for state agencies.

You will mentor staff, support business development in PA, and ensure quality procedures are followed throughout the project lifecycle. Travel to various PA offices may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree.
• 10 years of related experience.
• PMP (PMI), CCM or DBIA certification required within 12 months of hire or promotion onto the Approved Project Manager list.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.
• Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Senior Project Manager for design projects in our transportation program.
• Lead multi-disciplined project teams and deliver complex transportation design projects.
• Develop the scope and budget for new project pursuits; assist with marketing and business development for PA.
• Mentor staff and expand roadway/highway design practice in the greater PA market.
• Lead development of project scopes, schedules, and budgets; monitor performance.
• Implement CDM Smith’s quality procedures throughout the project lifecycle.
