Job summary

HNTB is seeking an experienced construction project manager to coordinate field administration and CM services for transportation projects across Pennsylvania. The role focuses on large-scale projects and pursuits, with leadership of project teams and adherence to SDA/SSA approaches.

The candidate will manage scopes, schedules, submittals, cost control, and client interfaces, with a strong emphasis on delivery, risk management, and staff development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CM/Engineering or related field and 10+ years of experience, or 14 years experience in lieu of degree.
• Experience on highway/bridge projects and familiarity with PennDOT/ PA Turnpike processes.
• Ability to develop scopes, prepare proposals, and manage project delivery plans.

Responsibilities

• Develop project scope, fee quotes, and assist in technical proposals and contracts.
• Coordinate project activities, assign staff, monitor progress, and resolve field issues.
• Oversee project controls, schedules, and submittals for conformance to plans.
• Lead project delivery using SDA principles and mentor project teams.
• Prepare change orders, negotiate costs, and manage cost control.
• Support business development and client relationships for major projects.
