Job summary

Stantec Consulting International Ltd. is seeking a Southern California based Senior Project Manager with a strong background in transportation infrastructure to lead complex projects in the region, including transit, roadway and highway design.

You will manage client relationships, proposals, budgets and schedules while coordinating a multi-disciplinary team of engineering professionals. The ideal candidate brings deep knowledge of California transportation development, Caltrans/LA Metro

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering required.
Licensed Professional Engineer in California required.
Minimum 10 years of project management experience in California, including management of engineers and sub-consultants.

Responsibilities

Lead business development efforts, client relationships, and securing contracts.
Prepare proposals and attend pre- and post-proposal meetings/interviews.
Oversee cross-discipline design processes and collaboration with leadership.
Attract, grow, and retain high-quality staff with HR partners.
Coach and develop team members to meet goals.
Interface with clients and agencies to determine requirements, permits, and approvals.
Ensure delivery meets schedule and cost targets; manage budgets and billing.
Coordinate design, planning, and construction support for transportation projects.
Provide internal peer review of designs and ensure QA/QC compliance.
