Job summary

Stantec in California seeks a Senior Project Manager with Account Management responsibilities to support public transit and transportation agencies. You will manage highway and bridge projects, strengthen client relationships, and lead multidisciplinary teams across the Transportation practice.

Responsibilities include developing account plans, coordinating with project teams, guiding technical deliverables, tracking budgets and schedules, and supporting business development while ensuring QA/QC

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 20 years of progressive experience in transportation project delivery.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in California, or ability to obtain within a reasonable timeframe, is preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Lead account management efforts for California transportation agency accounts.
• Manage highway and bridge project delivery, including client coordination and subconsultants.
• Prepare and deliver technical documents, cost estimates, and construction support deliverables.
• Maintain project budgets and schedules, support monthly billing and forecasting.
• Coach and mentor project team members and support business development.
