Job summary

Stantec Consulting International Ltd. seeks a Senior Project Manager in transportation to lead major highway and roadway design projects in the Cincinnati area.

You will oversee scope, budget, schedule, and QA/QC while mentoring staff and coordinating with clients, agencies, and partners. The role demands deep experience in transportation projects, strong leadership, and the ability to win key pursuits through strategic planning and proposals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering is required
• Professional Engineer license in the State of Ohio or ability to obtain within 6 months
• Minimum of twenty years of progressive engineering and project management experience in transportation
• Experience leading both rural and urban highway/roadway design projects
• Strong leadership, communication, and client relationship skills

Responsibilities

• Lead large transportation infrastructure design projects and guide delivery
• Ensure QA/QC and on-time, within-budget project performance
• Coordinate with design teams, subconsultants and partners
• Review and seal projects and supervise engineers
• Manage invoicing and monitor project budgets
• Develop and maintain client relationships and pursue new opportunities
• Coordinate with clients and agencies to determine project requirements and approvals
