Farnsworth Group is seeking a Sr. Project Engineer to join our Transportation team in Nashville. The role will involve project and client management with autonomy on project tasks and direct interaction with clients.

You will lead schedules, assist in estimating and marketing strategies, and act as Engineer of Record on select projects. The position supports business development, site visits, and collaboration with engineers, technicians, and administration to deliver successful transportation

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Transportation/Traffic Engineering.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE).
• Experience in civil/transportation engineering is required.
• Ability to manage and collaborate with Engineers, Technicians, Clients, and Administrators.
• Ability to contribute to several projects simultaneously.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, MicroStation, CONNECT and ORD is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as project manager and/or project engineer with autonomy for project tasks and as client contact.
• Manage project schedules and ensure timely completion of projects.
• Assist in estimating, scoping, and marketing strategies for proposed projects.
• Assist in preparing engineering agreements for projects.
• Provide street and highway design engineering analysis and be the Engineer of Record on some projects.
• Prepare or modify reports, specifications, plans, studies, permits, and designs.
• Delegate and/or supervise work of other engineers as needed.
• Support business development efforts and present to clients and organizations.
• Visit construction sites to monitor progress and perform duties per contract documents.
