Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Project Engineer to lead engineering teams on roadway projects, supervise subconsultants, and help manage schedules and scope. You will develop high-quality design plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation/OpenRoads, and 3D modeling tools.

You will engage with clients and agencies, contribute to proposals, and support business development in a hybrid office setting in Colorado. Strong leadership and communication skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with Transportation focus preferred.
• PE license in Colorado or ability to obtain.
• Minimum 8 years’ experience in roadway design or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead design teams on roadway projects and seal designs.
• Review plans and mentor team members for accuracy and quality.
• Coordinate with clients and agencies for requirements and approvals.
• Prepare client proposals, reports, and development of design elements.
