Job summary

Consor North America, Inc. in Colorado is seeking a Roadway Engineer to support planning, design, and delivery of transportation projects across the state. You will work with clients and multidisciplinary teams to advance road design, drainage, and traffic operations.

The role requires a Civil Engineering degree, 6+ years of roadway experience, and a Colorado PE or ability to obtain one within six months. Proficiency with MicroStation/OpenRoads and AutoCAD Civil 3D is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• 6+ years of roadway or transportation engineering experience.
• PE license in Colorado or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Experience applying AASHTO, CDOT, and local roadway design criteria.
• Proficiency with MicroStation/OpenRoads, AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Strong verbal and written communication, able to work in teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform roadway design and engineering analysis for transportation projects.
• Prepare PS&E in accordance with CDOT, AASHTO, and local requirements.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across traffic, drainage, structures, utilities.
• Support project delivery with budgeting, scheduling, QA/QC reviews.
• Prepare technical reports, calculations, and design memoranda.
• Participate in client meetings and project workshops.
• Assist with proposals, scope writing, and fee estimates.
• Help ensure schedules, budgets, and quality standards are met.
• Participate in mentoring and professional development.
