Qualifications

• PE license in Colorado is required.
• Experience with local, state and federal requirements.
• Ability to lead transportation staff to deliver projects.
• Help develop growth strategy for Colorado roadway team.
• Proposal preparation experience; project management; design and contract negotiation.
• Familiarity with CDOT methods and MUTCD/AASHTO standards.
• Strong leadership and presentation skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Proficient in Office 365.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects, delivery, and QA for roadways/highways design.
• Develop scopes, estimates, and project schedules.
• Mentor engineering staff and lead regional practice.
• Support client relations with Colorado Springs, El Paso County, CDOT.
• Lead pursuit strategy and multi-disciplinary collaboration.
• Identify opportunities and lead local business development.
• Track funding and project lists with regional partners.
• Understand design-build and CMGC delivery approaches.
