Stantec is seeking a Project Engineer to lead transportation teams on roadway projects, preparing and sealing designs, and ensuring delivery of high-quality civil designs. You will supervise, advise, and manage subconsultants, while supporting business development and proposal delivery.

The role supports a hybrid work environment with office presence as project needs dictate, enabling collaboration with CDOT and local agencies.

Qualifications

• Recent experience developing highway/roadway projects for CDOT or local agencies.
• Ability to lead design teams, manage projects, and check work for accuracy and timeliness.
• Understand budgeting, proposal writing, invoicing, and collections.
• Technical leadership in design and understanding of various design methods.
• High proficiency with Microsoft Office 365.
• Ability to lead client/design team meetings and coordinate with agencies.
• Effective communicator and strong team leadership.
• Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation OpenRoads, and 3D modeling.
• Ability to see the big picture of roadway projects.
• Knowledge of storm drain design, utility relocations, and traffic designs is a plus.
• Valid driver's license and good driving record.

Responsabilités

• Review and sealing of roadway projects.
• Lead technically complex projects and mentor team members.
• Liaise with clients, agencies for requirements and approvals.
• Assist in client proposals, reports, and design elements.
• Create 3D roadway corridor models using CAD tools.
• Use visualization software to support design development and client communications.
• Develop feasible design alternatives considering site, ROW, utilities, standards, safety, and costs.
• Produce final design plans, specs, and estimates.
• Peer review plans and QC of specifications, documents, and estimates.
• Develop/manage highway projects for CDOT or local agencies.
