Qualifications

• Five years of experience in civil engineering.

Responsibilities

• Develops the district's multi-year transportation program for highway improvements.
• Participates in determining project scope and initial cost estimates.
• Collects and maintains accurate data for the Illinois Roadway Information System and related reports.
• Establishes programs by category and monitors changing conditions and regulations.
• Coordinates planning studies to support project programming and eligibility.
• Evaluates past program effectiveness and system deficiencies.
• Supervises, trains, and motivates subordinate personnel.
• Performs duties in accordance with safety policies and equitable treatment of employees.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
