Job summary

Jacobs in Texas seeks a Senior-Level Transportation Planner to lead multimodal studies and regional plans in Austin, San Antonio or Houston. You will partner with clients and stakeholders, delivering technically sound analyses while pursuing new business and relationships.

This role blends project delivery with active client engagement and growth initiatives. The ideal candidate has a strong background in planning, land use, and active transportation, plus MPO/DOT experience and AICP

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in planning, policy, engineering or related field.
Professional planning certification (AICP).
Experience in transportation and land use planning, analysis, and studies.
Experience in planning, land use, active transportation, transit, and/or multimodal corridors.
Previous MPO, DOT, County, or Municipal transportation project experience.
Proven ability to build client relationships and act as trusted advisor.
Experience supporting business development and pursuing new work.
Project management and leadership experience on transportation planning projects.
Strong technical writing and presentation skills.
