Job summary

Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT), Traffic Operations Division, is hiring an Administrator 2, Professional Engineer in Carson City, NV. Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Professional Engineer (P.E.) and five years progressively responsible professional engineering experience in a supervisory or managerial capacity
• OR one year of experience as an Administrator I, P.E. in Nevada State service
• OR two years of experience as a Manager I, P.E., or Manager II, P.E. in Nevada State service
• OR licensure and an equivalent combination of education and experience

Responsibilities

• Administer day-to-day operations and oversee major programs in the division or district.
• Represent the department at meetings and hearings with government entities.
• Manage finances and budgets for efficient operations.
• Supervise subordinate managers, supervisors, staff, and service providers.
• Develop and implement division policies and ensure compliance with laws.
