Nevada Department of Transportation in Sparks, NV is hiring a Professional Engineer responsible for reviewing traffic control plans, encroachment permits, and traffic impact studies for District 2 projects. The incumbent will become ATSSA certified and oversee engineering analyses to support safety and operational improvements.

Applicants must hold a current PE license, be prepared for on-site work, and coordinate with contractors and the public.

Formación

• Current Licensure as a Professional Engineer (P.E.).

Responsabilidades

• Review and approve temporary traffic control plans for construction contracts.
• Review encroachment permits and special events.
• Comment on traffic impact studies for developments in District 2; assist in design determinations and mitigations.
• Review and comment on civil improvement plans for NDOT right-of-way; prepare plans and specifications for traffic-related contracts.
• Coordinate with contractors to administer contracts and respond to public inquiries regarding traffic operations in District 2.
