Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field with relevant experience.
• Option to qualify as Engineer Intern with two years of professional engineering experience.
• Two years of experience in Nevada State service or equivalent combination.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, design, analysis and inspection of transportation projects.
• Design and analyze traffic systems including signals and lighting.
• Evaluate pavement structural sections and rehabilitation strategies.
• Review water right applications and related environmental reports.
• Coordinate and perform on-site inspections of bridges and highway work.
• Maintain EDOC documentation and ensure proper user access.
• Provide technical support for EDOC systems and data entry for contracts.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
