Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Professional Engineer (P.E.) with four years of progressively responsible supervisory or project-charge experience.
• Supervisory or responsible project-charged capacity experience is required; alternative Nevada state service pathways exist.
• Licensure plus an equivalent combination of education and experience acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Administer operations and oversee the management of assigned areas of responsibility; delegate to managers and staff.
• Negotiate solutions with executives and regulatory representatives within policy guidelines.
• Perform professional engineering functions to develop solutions for complex problems and long-term goals.
• Exercise executive control over engineering projects and decide actions based on engineering criteria.
