The role requires steering daily outbound shipments, developing managers and drivers, and ensuring regulatory compliance across operations. Minimum five years leading unionized CDL-A drivers is required; strong leadership and communication skills with a strategic mindset are essential for driving performance and cost optimization in a high-volume

Competenze

• Minimum five years of experience in transportation/delivery supervision.
• Broad knowledge of transportation/delivery operations, methods and procedures.
• Strong leadership, communication and people development skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc.).
• 10% travel required, typically for mandatory meetings and/or training.
• High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.

• Achieve safety, service, and cost targets in the Transportation department.
• Oversee Transportation Managers through coaching and training.
• Develop drivers and personnel by discussing performance and creating improvement plans.
• Build high-performing teams through staffing, interviewing and hiring processes.
