DRMP is seeking a Senior Transportation Lighting Engineer, PE, to join our Transportation team in Orlando. This role focuses on delivering safe, energy-efficient roadway lighting solutions for infrastructure projects with ownership of technical work and collaboration with clients and multidisciplinary teams.

The ideal candidate has a PE license, 8 years of relevant experience, and strong knowledge of lighting design principles and electrical codes.

Qualificações

Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
Professional Engineer (PE) license.
8 years of transportation, roadway, infrastructure, or lighting engineering experience.
Strong understanding of lighting design principles and applicable electrical codes and standards.

Responsabilidades

Lead the design and analysis of roadway and transportation lighting systems.
Develop construction plans, specifications, engineer's estimates, technical reports, and supporting documentation.
Perform lighting calculations, voltage drop analyses, and lighting justification reports.
Design lighting systems for roadways, interchanges, bridges, site areas, and other transportation infrastructure.
Coordinate with clients, utility companies, contractors, and multidisciplinary project teams.
Ensure designs comply with applicable FDOT standards, NEC, NESC, and other applicable codes and design criteria.
