Job summary

The Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) seeks a Transportation Engineer Senior to assist the Regional Traffic Engineer in managing technical reviews and to mentor TES staff. You will review plans, ensure MUTCD compliance, analyze traffic data, and prepare traffic studies for regional projects.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or closely related field.
A valid Arizona PE is required or must be obtained within 6 months.
Experience in traffic engineering and plan review preferred.

Responsibilities

Review development plans for compliance with traffic standards.
Assist with plan reviews, traffic control, signing and signaling approvals.
Mentor TES staff and supervise Grade 22 engineers.
Coordinate with federal, local officials and developers.
