DEPT OF TRANSPORTATION in Phoenix, AZ seeks an Occupational Safety Consultant 4 to provide professional guidance on safety matters for ADOT. You will support Northwest and Southwest PDO Districts and drive safety programs across divisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Occupational Safety and Health or 5 years equivalent full-time work experience.
• Certified Safety Professional (CSP).
• Associate in Risk Management (ARM) and Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM).

Responsibilities

• Participate in incident investigation and root cause analysis with management.
• Conduct safety visits and inspections; recommend improvements to reduce risk and ensure code compliance.
• Develop, maintain and present safety training; communicate and solicit safety ideas.
