Job summary

STV is seeking a Senior Transportation Engineer in Kentucky (Glasgow, Louisville, Lexington, Owensboro) to lead and deliver transportation projects. You will supervise staff, coordinate across teams and subconsultants, and manage budgets and schedules under the Transportation Engineering Director.

The role includes mentoring junior engineers and ensuring high-quality deliverables across all project phases. The ideal candidate has a civil engineering degree, 10+ years of experience, and a PE

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• Minimum of 10 years of engineering experience required.
• KY Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
• Strong background with KYTC and local KY municipalities is desired.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a senior engineer to ensure project delivery for KYTC projects and other entities.
• Coordinate with design team to develop quality deliverables within schedule and budget.
• Provide QA/QC for engineering deliverables.
• Assist with development of specifications, cost estimates, reports, and final bid packages.
• Establish client and project manager interfaces and train staff.
