Job summary

STV, Inc. is seeking a Senior Transportation Engineer in Kentucky (Glasgow, Louisville, Lexington or Owensboro).

The role supports the Transportation division, reporting to the Transportation Engineering Director and guiding project schedules, resource allocation, and deliverables within budget. The candidate will lead multidisciplinary teams on transportation studies and infrastructure design, coordinate with internal and subconsultants, ensure client communication, and maintain project

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• Minimum of 10 years of engineering experience required.
• KY Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
• Strong background working with KYTC and local KY municipalities is desired.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a senior engineer to ensure project delivery for KYTC projects, various Departments of Transportation, Counties, Municipalities, and other private development entities.
• Coordinate with the design team to develop deliverables within the schedule and budget.
• Provide QA/QC for engineering deliverables.
• Assist with development of specifications, cost estimates, reports and final bid packages.
• Establish relationships with clients and project managers; train and direct staff.
