Job summary

STV, Inc. in Kentucky is seeking a Senior Transportation Engineer to support our Transportation division across Glasgow, Louisville, Lexington, and Owensboro.

You will lead project delivery, manage multidisciplinary teams, and mentor junior staff, reporting to the Transportation Engineering Director. Responsibilities include coordinating design, QA/QC, cost estimates, and client communications, while ensuring projects meet schedules and budgets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• Minimum of 10 years of engineering experience required.
• KY Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
• Strong background working with KYTC and local KY municipalities is desired.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a senior engineer to ensure project delivery for KYTC projects and other entities.
• Coordinate with the design team to develop quality deliverables within schedule and budget.
• Provide QA/QC for various engineering deliverables.
• Assist with development of specifications, cost estimates, reports, and final bid packages.
• Establish relationships with clients and project managers; interface with staff.
• Train and direct staff; mentor junior engineers.
• Assist with preparation of technical and cost proposals; contribute to RFP responses.
