Job summary

STV currently has an opening in Kentucky locations (Glasgow, Louisville, Lexington and Owensboro) for a Senior Transportation Engineer in our Transportation division. You will serve as an integral component of the STV team and collaborate with our staff to deliver various engineering services.

The position reports to the Transportation Engineering Director and helps maintain project schedules, allocate resources, and ensure deliverables are developed within budget while providing leadership and

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
Minimum of 10 years of engineering experience.
KY Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
Strong background with KYTC and local KY municipalities desired.

Responsibilities

Serving as a senior engineer to ensure project delivery for KYTC projects, various Departments of Transportation, Counties, Municipalities, and other private development entities.
Coordinating with the design team to develop quality deliverables within the established schedule and budget.
Provide QA/QC for various engineering deliverables.
Assisting with the development of specifications, cost estimates, reports and preparing final bid packages.
Establishing working relationships and interfacing with clients and project managers.
Train and direct staff.
Assisting with the preparation of technical and cost proposals.
Provide assistance in RFP responses and input on strategic planning.
