Job summary

Horrocks in Spokane, WA, is seeking a Design-Build Structures Lead/Manager for the Innovative Pursuits Team. The role focuses on transportation structures across DB/PDB pursuits, coordinating with discipline leads, and delivering value-based designs that meet client goals.

The position requires a PE license and 10+ years of transportation experience, with 5+ years leading teams and 3+ years of DOT DB/PDB experience. Local and regional assignments are expected.

Qualifications

• PE license preferred in UT/NV/AZ/ID/CO/NM/WA.
• 10+ years in transportation structures design.
• 5+ years leading structural design teams.
• 3+ years DOT DB or PDB experience.
• Ability to lead teams and manage clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural discipline engineering teams for Transportation on DB and/or PDB pursuits and projects.
• Coordinate with other discipline leads.
• Integral member of the project management and delivery team.
• Lead structural design, analysis, studies, reports, plans, specifications, and quantity tasks.
• Knowledge and experience with standard bridge industry software.
• Maintain positive relationships with team members and clients.
• Be assigned to local and Rocky Mountain Region wide projects.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with clients and management.
• Meet project deadlines.
• Grow personally and professionally with each project.
