Job summary

ShipBob is seeking a Senior Manager, Transportation to lead carrier relationships and cross-border initiatives across inbound and outbound freight. You will educate internal partners on cross-border entry processes, manage partnerships with brokers and third-party systems, and drive on-time customer shipments.

You will own SOPs, rate negotiations, and onboarding for new lanes, while guiding a team to optimize performance and reduce disruptions.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience in ecommerce and shipping.
• 2+ years of experience with cross-border shipments.
• Superior presentation and communication skills for complex processes.

Responsibilities

• Establish and manage carrier performance tracking and improvement initiatives.
• Manage Carrier Analyst to solve outages and capacity issues.
• Onboard new carriers and lanes, develop SOPs and ensure integration requirements.
• Identify bottlenecks in carrier flows and collaborate with carriers to improve service levels.
• Create processes to ensure continuous flow of packages through carriers’ supply chain.
• Be the subject matter expert for cross-border compliance and regulations.
