Job summary

I & S Group, Inc. in La Crosse, WI seeks a Transportation Construction Leader to manage WisDOT, County, and City transportation construction projects. You will lead meetings, oversee design and construction, and liaise with clients and regulators to deliver quality results.

Qualifications

• Experience with WisDOT transportation construction projects preferred.
• Ability to lead projects independently and mentor staff.
• Willingness to travel to job sites and possess a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Management of WisDOT, County, and City transportation construction projects
• Conduct professional meetings including pre-construction, public information and weekly construction meetings
• Perform civil engineering calculations; prepare engineering plans, designs and reports and construction oversight including inspection when needed
• Serve as a liaison with clients, government and regulatory authorities and contractors
• Deliver project documents within prescribed budgetary and time constraints while satisfying client requirements
• Develop and enhance client relationships and business growth
• Prioritize overall project management and ensure successful project delivery
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring of project team members including other engineers and technical support staff
• Assist with functional and detailed design of transportation and municipal infrastructure projects when in the office
• Contract administration of municipal projects
