Job summary

ISG is hiring a Transportation Construction Technician to join our Transportation team in La Crosse, WI. This field-based role involves working out in the field with contractors to ensure projects are built correctly and on schedule.

You will conduct meetings, perform civil engineering calculations, and serve as a liaison with clients and authorities. A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel are required; WisDOT standards and Civil 3D knowledge are a plus.

Qualifications

• Field-based role requiring travel to job sites.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
• Experience with WisDOT standards and Civil 3D is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to WisDOT, County, and City transportation construction projects.
• Conduct professional meetings including pre-construction, public information and weekly construction meetings.
• Perform civil engineering calculations; prepare plans, designs and reports with construction oversight.
• Serve as a liaison with clients, government and regulatory authorities and contractors.
• Deliver project documents within budget and time constraints while satisfying client requirements.
• Develop and enhance client relationships and business growth.
• Prioritize project management and ensure successful delivery.
• Assist with design of transportation and municipal infrastructure projects when in the office.
