Job summary

Stantec is seeking Transportation Construction Inspector Supervisors at all levels to contribute to projects across Pennsylvania. This role involves overseeing roadway, bridge, and interchanges projects, with end-to-end support from design to construction and occupancy.

The position requires five years of inspection experience, supervisory capabilities, and NICET/ACI/PennDOT/NECEPT credentials. A strong focus on safety, quality, and regulatory compliance is essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or relevant experience accepted in place of diploma
• Minimum of five (5) years construction inspection experience on major roadway/bridge projects
• At least two (2) years supervising and/or managing inspectors
• NICET Level 3 or higher certification or equivalent
• ACI Concrete Certification or NECEPT certifications
• PennDOT and/or Pennsylvania Turnpike experience
• Experience with NECEPT Asphalt systems and PennDOT processes

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise inspectors on major transportation projects
• Review drawings to prepare for inspection
• Conduct field measurements to establish quantities for pay items
• Inspect worksite for proper traffic control setup
• Inspect erosion control devices and ensure permit compliance
• Monitor and record materials certifications per client procedures
