Job summary

Stantec is actively seeking Transportation Construction Inspector Supervisors (TCIS) to contribute to roadway and bridge projects across Pennsylvania. The role involves supervising inspection teams, reviewing plans, and ensuring quality and safety from design through construction.

We value experienced inspectors with NICET/ACI/NECEPT certifications and PennDOT exposure. This is a hands-on field role within a major infrastructure practice, offering varied assignments and career growth.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required or substitutable with related experience.
• Minimum of five (5) years construction inspection experience on major roadway/bridge projects.
• At least two (2) years supervising and/or managing inspectors.
• Current NICET Level 3 or higher certification or equivalent credentials.
• ACI Concrete Certification, NECEPT Concrete/Asphalt certifications are a plus.
• PennDOT and/or Pennsylvania Turnpike experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise inspectors on major transportation projects.
• Review drawings to prepare for inspection.
• Conduct field measurements to establish quantities for pay item documentation.
• Inspect worksite for proper traffic control setup.
• Inspect erosion control devices and ensure compliance with permits.
• Monitor and record materials certifications per client procedures.
