Job summary

Stantec seeks a Transportation Construction Inspector Supervisor at all levels to oversee projects across Pennsylvania, including roadways, bridges, interchanges, and toll plazas. The team provides expert consulting from design to construction.

The role requires several years of inspection experience, supervision of inspectors, and relevant certifications such as NICET, ACI, or PennDOT credentials. Strong knowledge of traffic control and erosion prevention is essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or relevant experience can be used in place of diploma.
• Minimum of five (5) years construction inspection experience on major roadway and/or bridge inspection projects to include a minimum of two (2) years supervising and/or managing inspectors.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise inspectors on major transportation projects.
• Review drawings to prepare for inspection.
• Conduct field measurements to establish quantities for pay item documentation.
• Inspect worksite for proper traffic control setup.
• Inspect erosion control devices, ensure they are maintained and in compliance with permits.
• Monitor and record materials certifications in accordance with client procedures.
