Job summary

Stantec is seeking Transportation Construction Inspector Supervisors (TCIS) at all levels to contribute to projects across Pennsylvania. We oversee projects involving roadways, structures, interchanges, and toll plazas, offering expert consulting from design to construction and occupancy.

You will manage inspectors, review drawings, perform field measurements for pay items, inspect traffic control and erosion control, and ensure compliance with permits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or relevant experience can be used in place of diploma.
• Minimum of five (5) years construction inspection experience on major roadway and/or bridge inspection projects to include a minimum of two (2) years supervising and/or managing inspectors.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise inspectors on major transportation projects.
• Review drawings to prepare for the inspection.
• Conduct field measurements to establish quantities for pay item documentation.
• Inspect worksite for proper traffic control setup.
• Inspect erosion control devices, ensure they are maintained and compliant with permits.
• Monitor and record materials certifications per client procedures.
