Job summary

Reserv is seeking highly organized Transportation Physical Damage Claims Adjusters to join a remote-first claims team. You will speak with customers by phone, educate them through the claim process, manage an inventory of claims, and triage critical cases to ensure the best outcomes.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of commercial transportation claims experience, an active adjuster license, and a willingness to obtain any additional licenses within 45 days.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience.
• Active insurance adjuster’s license in home state or designated state.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience on commercial transportation claims (interstate trucking).
• Willing to obtain all licenses within 45 days and complete state testing.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, courteous, high-quality customer service to policyholders and claimants by responding to inquiries, initiating investigations and resolving claims.
• Gather information from customers to initiate claims and explain policy, coverage, and actions.
• Manage an inventory of claims, establish initial reserves, and adjust as needed.
• Coordinate vehicle repairs and assist with rental reimbursement.
• Recognize recovery opportunities in subrogation and salvage; handle total loss cases.
• Ensure compliance with state regulations, policy provisions, and SOPs.
• Communicate with involved parties and negotiate settlements within authority.
• Contribute to updates of claims guidelines and process improvements.
• Coordinate with outside investigators and client counsel to resolve claims.
• Engage in ongoing learning about personal lines claims, court decisions, and policy changes.
