Job summary

Reserv, a technology-driven insurtech, seeks a Transportation Physical Damage Claims Adjuster to join our remote-first team. You will speak with customers, educate them through the claim process, manage an inventory of claims, and help drive optimal settlements with clear communication and empathy.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of commercial transportation claims experience, an active adjuster license, and a proactive approach to compliance and subrogation opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience.
• Active adjuster license required or willing to obtain within 60 days.
• Commercial transportation claims experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, courteous and high-quality customer service to policyholders and claimants by responding to inquiries and resolving claims.
• Gather necessary information from customers to initiate the claim and explain policy coverage.
• Manage an inventory of claims and establish initial reserves for exposures.
• Coordinate repair of damaged vehicles and assist with rental reimbursement.
• Communicate with parties and negotiate settlements within approved authority.
• Support development of claims guidelines and work with outside investigators as needed.
