Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• Coursework toward a degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline is a plus.
• Experience in customer billing, accounts receivable, or transportation billing is preferred.
• Experience in logistics or service-based environments is a plus.
• Proficiency in Excel and Office 365 with advanced lookup and formula skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to link transactions across systems.
• Attention to detail and commitment to accurate financial records.
• Ability to investigate discrepancies and collaborate across departments.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and analyze customer invoices for accuracy and timeliness.
• Manage complex billing activities: accessorials, equipment fees, surcharges, and special arrangements.
• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and unbilled transactions across systems.
• Reconcile operational records, invoices, and accounting transactions for accuracy.
• Collaborate with Operations, Finance, IT, and customer teams to confirm services and respond to inquiries.
• Review contracts and calculations to ensure proper charges and documentation.
• Prepare recurring calculations, reconciliations, and analyses for billing programs.
• Monitor outstanding billing exceptions and ensure timely follow-up.
