Responsibilities

• Lead daily accounting operations including billing, AR, AP, collections, and payroll administration
• Oversee billing to ensure accurate invoicing per contracts and tariffs
• Manage accounts receivable activities including collections support, dispute resolution, and credit memos
• Direct accounts payable operations including invoice processing, coding, approvals, vendor reconciliation, and timely payments
• Coordinate payroll-related transactions with Payroll and Operations leadership
• Train and develop accounting staff and maintain SOPs and internal controls
• Monitor KPIs such as billing accuracy, processing timelines, and productivity
• Maintain client and vendor data, tariffs, and transaction controls within ERP and TMS systems
• Collaborate across departments to resolve discrepancies and streamline processes
• Support month-end and year-end closing with proper documentation and reconciliations
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information
• Complete required company development, safety, quality, and compliance training
