Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a senior leader to guide the Transportation team, overseeing cost-to-serve analyses, network design, routing optimization, and carrier strategies to enable a reliable, scalable logistics network.

You will mentor transportation executives, collaborate with cross-functional teams across Legal, Finance, Supply Chain Planning, Sales, Systems, and the 3PL group, and translate complex analytics into clear insights for executives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, industrial engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years in transportation analytics, network design, or data modeling.
• Strong knowledge of domestic transportation modes, regulations, and warehousing operations.
• Proficiency in data visualization tools (Power BI and Tableau).
• Advanced quantitative skills including regression modeling and optimization.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of transportation executives overseeing day-to-day operations.
• Identify opportunities to improve logistics capabilities and service.
• Optimize routing, location, and carrier strategies across the network.
• Develop and operationalize new logistics capabilities and processes.
• Collaborate with Legal, Finance, Supply Chain Planning, Sales, Systems, and 3PL teams.
