Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Lead Transmission Siting and Permitting Project Manager to support a growing portfolio of electric transmission, substation, and renewable energy projects across PA, NJ, and MD. This role blends technical siting work with project leadership and mentorship.

You will manage routing and permitting, coordinate cross-disciplinary teams, contribute to business development efforts, and ensure quality, safety, and regulatory compliance across multiple project phases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in environmental fields or related experience.
• 10+ years managing environmental permitting and planning for energy infrastructure.
• Ability to lead project teams and work independently.
• Strong communication with clients, agencies, and colleagues.
• Experience with proposals, pricing, and client requirements.
• Commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage technically complex siting and permitting projects for energy infrastructure.
• Serve as PM or task leader on transmission and renewable energy assignments.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across projects and locations.
• Support client relationships, proposals, and business development.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to junior staff.
• Ensure adherence to budgets, schedules, and WSP policies.
