Job summary

HDR is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead transmission routing and siting efforts. You will develop buildable routing solutions, work with utility and developer teams, and prepare regulatory documentation for siting approvals.

The role requires seasoned leadership, strong communication, and the ability to manage scope, schedule and budget across complex projects while traveling 10–20% as needed. HDR values employee ownership and inclusion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in linear projects involving land acquisition, routing or environmental planning.
• Minimum 5 years of project management experience; able to lead multi-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop buildable routing and siting solutions for electric transmission projects.
• Lead project teams including utility staff, contractors and consultants.
• Engage with government agencies, regulators, communities and landowners.
• Prepare testimony and technical documentation for siting approvals.
• Monitor project scope, schedule and budget; ensure timely deliverables.
• Mentor newer staff and expand client relationships.
• Travel 10–20% of the time.
