Job summary

Black & Veatch is seeking a Power System Studies Engineer with 5–10 years of experience to join our team. You will work on Transmission System design concepts, interconnection studies, and EMT analysis across multiple office locations.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of Transmission and System Analysis experience.
• Experience with Transmission Interconnection Studies and Reactive Power.
• Proficient with power system study software (PSCAD, PSS/E, PSLF).
• Familiar with NERC standards (TPL, MOD, PRC).
• Ability to develop written technical documents.

Responsibilities

• Develop complex engineering deliverables for projects.
• Coordinate with internal/external teams and clients.
• Lead small projects including schedules and staffing.
• Support business development and pursuit activities.
• Mentor junior professionals and ensure QA/QC.
