Job summary

Black & Veatch Corporation seeks a Power System Studies Engineer with 5–10 years of experience to join the Transmission Studies team. You’ll work on Transmission Interconnection Studies, Reactive Power, Short Circuit, EMT analyses using PSS/E, PSLF, PSCAD and related tools.

Relocation is supported and multiple office locations are available. You’ll lead complex studies, coordinate with clients, mentor junior staff, and contribute to proposals.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of transmission system analysis experience.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.

Responsibilities

• Develop complex engineering deliverables for transmission projects.
• Lead project teams and manage budgets and schedules.
• Coordinate with clients and internal teams.
• Ensure compliance with quality programs.
