Job summary

Black & Veatch is seeking a Power System Studies Engineer with 5-10 years’ experience to join our Power System Studies team in the United States. The role focuses on distribution system studies including Short Circuit, Load Flow, DER Impact, and Protection analyses using industry-standard software.

You will lead technical work, coordinate with internal and external teams, and contribute to proposal development while ensuring QA/QC practices are followed across projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in distribution system planning studies.
• Experience with Short Circuit, Load Flow, DER Impact, Protection, and Interconnection studies.
• Proficiency with power system modeling software (CYME, Synergi Electric) and scripting (Python).
