Black & Veatch Corporation seeks a Power System Studies Engineer with 1-4 years of experience to join our Power System Studies team. The ideal candidate has significant working knowledge of distribution design concepts and analyses such as Short Circuit (Fault) Analysis, Load Flow, DER Impact Analysis, Protection Coordination Studies and system modeling software for the same.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering; 1 year of related work experience.
• Experience performing distribution system studies and calculations.
• Familiarity with load flow, short circuit and protection studies.

Responsibilities

• Continue to learn and apply departmental design guides and standards.
• Prepare complex engineering deliverables and calculations.
• Coordinate with project leadership and other teams; mentor interns.
• Interact with clients to understand needs and drivers.
• Support business development pursuits and maintain project quality.
