Job summary

ICF Power Delivery Services in Dallas seeks a senior transmission planning engineer to own complex engagements, lead a multi-disciplinary team, and shape the direction of our practice. You will perform steady-state load flow and contingency analyses, conduct dynamic simulations, and guide long-range buildout studies for utilities and grid operators.

You bring 5–8+ years in transmission planning, proficiency with PSS/E and PSLF, EIT/PE, and strong communication skills for client and internal

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering from ABET-accredited program.
• 5–8+ years in transmission planning or related power engineering.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical lead on transmission planning engagements.
• Perform steady-state load flow, contingency, and dynamic stability studies.
• Lead interconnection studies across ISOs/RTOs and long-range planning.
• Develop and deliver regulatory reports and client deliverables.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to business development.
