Job summary

Arizona Public Service (APS) is seeking an experienced Engineer to design and oversee complex transmission projects in Arizona, applying NESC codes and engineering standards. You will join the T&D Overhead Design team alongside senior transmission and distribution engineers to execute capital and maintenance projects at medium and transmission voltage levels.

Qualifications

• BS in engineering from ABET-accredited school plus 5 years related experience.
• Approved Engineer degrees Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Chemical, Structural.
• A four-year Eng. Tech degree is not automatic BS equivalence; curriculum review required.

Responsibilities

• Design and oversee complex transmission projects at medium and transmission voltages in AZ.
• Apply NESC codes and applicable industry standards in design work.
• Collaborate with T&D overhead design team on capital and maintenance projects.
